Tulum Beach is the second hot spot and one of the most unspoiled and beautiful beaches in the world, just south of the Tulum archaeological site. The third hot spot is the main street of the city of Tulum, Highway 307, which runs through the city center with shops and restaurants on either side of this road. The second main street or main street to visit in Tulum is the beach street at the southern end, this area is also called the Hotel Zone. In Batey you'll find live music at night and an energetic crowd that takes to the streets with tropical drinks in hand.
Although they are a little less popular than the famous ruins of Chichén Itzá, I think the ruins of Cobá are a much more pleasant day trip from Tulum.
